As Floor Manager, you’re the main point of contact on the floor. You make sure the team knows what needs to be done, service runs smoothly and guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. You keep an overview, step in where needed and jump in yourself when the pace picks up.
You know what the floor needs. A table that could use some extra attention? You see it. A colleague who needs a helping hand? You’re there. Does the restaurant start filling up? You make sure everyone stays sharp and service keeps moving.
You’re the link between the waitstaff, bar, kitchen and management. You keep an eye on the pace, monitor the quality and make sure the team keeps working with energy and enthusiasm, even when every table is full.
What you’ll do:
- Take daily responsibility for the floor
- Lead and support the floor team
- Ensure a high standard of service and guest experience
- Keep an overview during busy moments and react quickly when needed
- Guide new colleagues and introduce them to the Piatti way of working
- Coordinate between the waitstaff, bar, kitchen and management
- Welcome guests, stay in touch with them and make sure they receive personal attention
- Support, guide and motivate colleagues during service
- Identify and solve problems immediately and think along about improving processes
- Monitor the appearance, cleanliness and quality of the floor
- Work together with the team to create that typical Piatti atmosphere
What we’re looking for:
You’re welcoming. You’re sharp. You’re a hands-on person.
And most importantly: you see what’s happening on the floor and anticipate what’s needed.
You thrive on pace, get energy from a busy restaurant and know how to keep a team sharp and positive during a busy service. You’re clear, involved and not afraid to address colleagues when necessary. You lead by example, aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and always keep an eye on the guest.
Experience in hospitality and in a leadership role is important. But energy, a strong sense of responsibility and the drive to deliver great service together with the team are just as important to us.

Als floormanager ben jij het aanspreekpunt op de vloer. Jij zorgt ervoor dat het team weet wat er moet gebeuren, de service soepel verloopt en gasten zich vanaf het eerste moment welkom voelen. Je houdt overzicht, stuurt bij waar nodig en springt zelf bij als het tempo omhooggaat.
Je voelt aan wat de vloer nodig heeft. Een tafel die extra aandacht kan gebruiken? Jij ziet het. Een collega die even hulp nodig heeft? Jij bent er. Loopt het restaurant vol? Dan zorg jij dat iedereen scherp blijft en de service doorloopt.
Je bent de verbindende factor tussen bediening, bar en keuken en bedrijfsleiding. Je bewaakt het tempo, houdt de kwaliteit in de gaten en zorgt ervoor dat het team met energie en plezier blijft werken, ook wanneer alle tafels vol zitten.
Wat jij gaat doen:
- De dagelijkse leiding op de vloer op je nemen
- Het team op de vloer aansturen en begeleiden
- Zorgen voor een hoge kwaliteit van service en gastbeleving
- Het overzicht houden tijdens drukke momenten en snel schakelen waar nodig
- Nieuwe collega’s begeleiden en meenemen in de Piatti-manier van werken
- Schakelen tussen bediening, bar, keuken en bedrijfsleiding
- Gasten ontvangen, contact houden en zorgen voor persoonlijke aandacht
- Collega’s helpen, bijsturen en motiveren tijdens de service
- Problemen signaleren en direct oplossen, meedenken over het verbeteren van processen
- Toezien op de uitstraling, netheid en kwaliteit van de vloer
- Samen met het team zorgen voor die typische Piatti-sfeer
Wat we in jou zoeken:
Je bent gastvrij. Je bent scherp. Je bent een aanpakker.
Én heel belangrijk: je ziet wat er op de vloer gebeurt en anticipeert hierop. Je houdt van tempo, krijgt energie van een volle zaak en weet hoe je een team tijdens een drukke service scherp én gezellig houdt. Je bent duidelijk, betrokken en niet bang om collega’s aan te spreken wanneer dat nodig is. Je geeft het goede voorbeeld, steekt de handen zelf uit de mouwen en houdt altijd oog voor de gast.
Ervaring in de horeca en in een leidinggevende rol is belangrijk. Maar energie, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en de wil om samen met het team een goede service neer te zetten vinden we minstens zo belangrijk.
